A tween is a child from the age of 6-14. As a mother of a tween and a teen I have felt the to share my finds over the internet, from magazines and other resources as I love reading to try and help keep up to date with whats new and whats in for children in this age group.
Fashion for tweens is growing and expanding everyday with loads more becoming available online and in bricks and mortar stores. I have seen it expand so much over the last year or two.
Some of the clothing out there for tweens is not age appropriate, which we as parents need to control....do we want our children to grow up faster than they should? Believe me I limit what my children do and wear. We need to keep their fashion innocence longer. It is a tough line and we as parents, have to se their boundaries for them to grow into successful and happy young adults.


Keeping a tween girl happy and creating their own style is challenging in today's society with increasing pressure to grow up fast. With a little education and compromise a balance can be found to make you both happy.
